Got around to measuring the V8 landrover

Series 2 with 3.9l V8, disco diffs, coils and 32" x 9.5" simex's on 16" rims

Not worn at all

30psi

260mm front and rear. Pretty much the same as safari or landcrusier on 35's

interesting! just measured up mine
kzn130 surf
33/10.5/15 Silverstone mt117x brand new
36psi
275mm on rear
285mm up front

only good thing about ifs is tunnel clearance :D

another thing is the gearbag xmember to concider my og one was nearly lower than rear diff :!:

LN61 surf on swb solid axle hilux chass
cast iron 350 chev + winch and winch bar at the front,
near full 140l fuel tank behind the rear axle
so theres plenty of excess weight hanging off it.

new 35" maxxis mudzillas at 30psi
front 280mm
rear 300mm

KZJ78 33"BFG (3/4 worn, 30psi) 260F, 255R.

Compared clearances on a KZJ71 Prado & a FJ70 a few years ago both on 31.5x15 (different brands, but same height):
Prado 230F, 230R,
FJ70 235F, 235R
But the spring pack made big difference ...

1997 nissan Mistral
Large h233B rear diff.
factory tire size 235/75/15
half worn tires
195mm diff clearance :(
EDIT and with new Kumho 31" MTs (14mm tread), the diff clearance is 225mm.
