I don't think there are many options for an 'easyier' 6 inches of lift on any vehicle

Getting some spring packs custom made might be the simplest approach. I've had good results from Archers in Rotorua before but not anything that extreme.

Why do you need 6" of lift on an old hilux? They'll fit a decent size tyre with much less height than that. If you want to go 35"+ I'd be worried about grenading diffs & CV's on the std axles.

Cheers

If it breaks, build it stronger.
If it doesn't break, drive it harder.

are you planning on it being road legal?

'if' you did end up lifting 6" then you would need to put cross over steering in, surf steering box, 70 series tie rod & drag link.

if road legal, remember shackle length is restricted to (if I remember correctly) 150mm hole to hole, so would need quite a lifted spring, or as clint said packers.

a not so easy way would be to drop spring mount brackets.

but why would you need 6" anyway? my ln60 surf had 2" lift springs (leaf) and 2" body lift and fits 35" tyres ok, take to the seam in body behind front wheels with a big hammer, that helps clear big tyres.

Yes road legal .
I was thinking putting the rears in the front with extended drop shakles.
Then getting some from snr 4wd . To the right hight .
Also ill have to do a high steer kit with a surf power steering box .
I am hoping to get 6inchs
So if anyone has gone down this track some info would help .

Cheers Tommy

I've done a ruf on my ln65, don't know how many inch lift it is but enough to run 35's. Tomsoffroad can do a full kit for it for your truck which makes it pretty easy. I also put the newer model hilux leaves in the back.
