New exhaust 90 series Prado

Postby timmay556 » Fri May 03, 2019 5:57 pm

Hey guys, I hit a rock with my Prado which has pushed out my exhaust, I'm thinking it's a good excuse to upgrade from stock.
What I am after is a 2.75" or 3" exhaust from the turbo back (so including dump pipe).
All I can find online is just from the end of the stock dump pipe back (and I know how shitty the factory ones are). Does anyone have options or places I can go to get an idea on costs and options? I would want a EGT bung added to the dump pipe as I do tow. Not looking for noise just something around the same level as stock.

My wagon is stock standard, 97 1kzte lwb auto.

Thanks

Bit late with reply sorry. Autobend do a Rage exhaust option. Dump pipe you may need to get custom made by someone like Toms Off-road. Put egt sensor in exhaust manifold I.e.before turbo

i've had trouble with them before. they don't always make what they advertise.
better off getting it custom built or even imported.

sadly i've run into cases where guys here in nz have tried to buy exhausts from AU only to be told they are made in NZ, but the manufacture won't sell them in NZ. no wonder NZ manufacturing is crap.
