KZJ78 1 KZTE ECU

Post by LuvCruiser78 »

Hi folks, I'm looking for a replacement ECU it's a ND 89661-60250 for an Auto Trans.
I'm told by the Local Toyota Dealer (Tasman Toyota) that they're no longer available.
Local Parts guys tell me that a Surf unit will not match. (89661 3D100?).
Any suggestions?
Vehicle is a minter Started Monday morning, backed up to attach trailer then wouldn't restart.
Spins over but there's just nothing.......
Power goes to the ECU but isn't coming out?
Any help sourcing bits is appreciated
Cheers Gus

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
I ended up getting peter hall inAkl who I believe Jerry used in the past.
Refitted ECU to find the engine had Hydraulic locked.
Pulled the glows turned her over then hit the key.
No 2 Cyl was chuffing water.....! WTH????
Prior to this truck stopping dead there was no indication that there was any problem with rough or hot running .
Have pulled head, the gasket looks fine. Must have cracks
