Land Cruiser Prado LJ71

Postby Mattrade » Sun Apr 17, 2016 6:48 pm

Spent the weekend building a 3 inch exhaust. When i bought it had a side exit that was real loud and fell off  Also want to build some rock sliders soon and want the exhaust out the way so rerouted it between the frame rails.

Made a bracket to attach exhaust to gearbox just before the flexi joint. And hung the rest off rubber hangers.

I routed the the rear out the same rout as stock. Used a measuring tape, measured the travel between bumps stop and chassie and from axel to exhaust tube. Had like 40 mm. Will flex it out to make sure. Miss the rumble of no exhaust but at the same time not at all ha ha
