Importing a defender from the UK

Postby wjw » Mon Mar 25, 2019 9:34 am

Hi All,

Before I start researching this, has anyone imported a Defender from the UK? Looking to replace the cruiser with something newer.

Looking to price up a Mall crawler, 8+ seater 90 or 110. Used by a mum do drop the kids off at school.

Thanks,

Bill

That depends on where in the country you buy it from, quite a few counties dont use salt now. And it would likely be less than 10 years old.

Chat with the guys at Stag 4X4, they import British vehicles for customers at what seemed like a very good price from memory :)

Lots seem to come in from Aus, better climate so very minimal rust issues.

I would want to personally inspect one from the UK, do you have family that can??
