Hilux/cruiser calliper pistons

Postby lilpigzuk » Fri Sep 26, 2014 5:15 pm

Anyone got access to/sell new pistons to suit yota calipers? 2 x large, 2 x small per calliper. Needing to do both front in the near future and no doubt the rear 4 pots will be the same
Prices locally a little up there and for what I pay for rover pistons yota stuff sure as hell ain't cheap in comparison!!

Got a pair of LN106 calipers for 295NZD from onlineautoparts.com.au. However had a quick look just now and the price has gone up to 325NZD.

BNT wanted quite a bit more than this

If you are interested in a small upgrade, the LN106 caliper with 4x 42.85mm pistons will fit in place of the Cruiser caliper that has 2x 42.85mm and 2x 33.93mm pistons, with a little trimming of the dust shield.

and a bit of grinding on the calliper cooling fins unless you use a spacer the calliper's are a bit wider than the old 2 big piston/2 small piston ones most rims will fowl on them when you upgrade :D
