Afternoon toyota club!
My father in laws Prado has cooked the motor and is irrecoverable. Don't ask how/ why just accept the old engine is done.
We're struggling to find a replacement engine which doesn't help. Its a SWB with the 2.7 petrol, does any one know if the 3.2 V6 will fit in?
Do they have a computer because that'd make or break it really.
Cheers, Dylan

Re: New Engine for Prado
are you meaning the 3.4 v6? 5vz-fe.
and which model prado? 70 with the 3zr-fe? 90 with the 3rz-fe? or 120 with the 3rz-fe or 3tr-fe? might not make any difference but might do.

Its a 3RZJ90...
So sounds like a mission of a job then. Was hoping that fitting the V6 wouldn't be too much of a pain.
So really unless we can find another 3RZ we're gonna be chopping and cutting and certing at the end.
