yer yours was near vertical , spotted a pic today bar across the engine two tabs to hold the cooler but mine only has two tabs on inlet end , may have to tack two mounts on other end

When adding a top mount intercooler ,many people use threaded rod (4 rods mounted vertically) , with nuts/lock nuts to secure the intercooler at the correct height.

new manifold welded up stock unit cut added 50 mm to it in height.
The full list of after xmas trip repairs is,
remove fuel tank fix the break in the joint seam from branch hitting the tank welded six mm plate across the mounts to stop that happening again .
remove turbo to get it checked , intake manifold off. to fix exhaust leak ,
new rocker cover gasket left of engine coated in oil residue ,
two off trundles engine mounts mine shagged again,
manifold on turbo ok back on,
then cooler sat on top of rocker cover on block of wood right height so of ,
eight 90 degree bends from four repco shops
set the plumbing up left side to close to turbo one 45 deg brought plus ali intake tube that works ,
make low 90 degree intake for manifold cooler can now move forward an at lower height ,
four legs made cooler sits 40 mm out at the front of the bonnet,
jack bonnet up 40 mm at hinges to lift it of intake hoses
60 mm high scoop brought cover the hole 20 mm over cooler
end result engine temp cooler exhaust gas cooler exhaust gas temp drops rapidly after hills ,
it's a win for a change
