ive used torque pro as my go to in the past , whats the best way to talk to my 1997 qd32eti with out spending a fortune. my speedo cluster just gone all out of calibration so would like to start with fault codes . thanks if you can help

Have you tried NISSAN DATASCAN? It's a 3rd party Aussie company. About $60 for a license and allows most of the functionality of CONSULT and CONSULT-II. You can download a demo to see if it will talk to your ECM, then buy a license.
