How to replace rear center seat belt on Nissan Safari?

Postby gav » Sat Apr 20, 2019 4:53 pm

Failed my WOF due to center rear seat belt needing replacing... anyone know how I get it out of the upholstery without destroying the seat? Bolt head seems to be in an inaccessible spot within the upholstery.

Alternatively... any after market seat belt options I could fit that would be easy to install which could be used as a replacement? Any creative work-arounds?

For now I've ripped out one of the back seats to get through the WOF for now.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

If it's like the 80, I had to remove the upholstry from the rear, unbolt and replace. Had to take the seats completely out. Was an easy job, just fiddly.
