We held this from Thursday night through until Saturday night. There was 20 stages on two properties with a 100km transit stage on Friday evening. All vehicles were to be self contained for cooking/camping/repairs.

Re: Ironman Southern Winch Competition
It was a club thing but if someone wanted to enter and knew it was on we would have let them, it was a entry level challenge as there are not many newbies getting into it.
So went back to how it all began years ago, all about a social time, time for yarns, no clicky groups etc.
Only criteria were rego, wof, 33 inch radial tyres max size and no competition type winches - we would let bits upgraded that you might have on a normal club vehicle such as a 6hp motor on an old hi mount.
