Is this event spectator friendly? I've never been to a winch challenge and was keen to check it out but am having trouble finding much information regarding spectators and locations

The Saturday event would be the one to go see, most of the tracks appear to be in a cluster. And an easy walk between.
I have seen the competitors info pack and it has great instructions for access..
Perhaps Dave could post up a link ?
Looking forward to this weekend !

Saturday event is at (S37 17.674 E175 04.271) according to the doc on Manukau web site. Paste that location into maps.google.co.nz and you'll see exactly where car park is for Saturday stages.
Day stages are much more spectator friendly than night stages.

Great event, hat's off to the organisers (they had some tuff decisions today ) (stage 9 being one of them). I will be there next year in the Manukau class if you do it again :D . I hope my fellow Northlander's ( Kevon & Thor, Tony & Martin, Kelvin & Pete ) do well in the end results 8)

Hi Taz,
My apologies for the lapse. So many things happening over the weekend. The whitebait fritters on Friday morning were fantastic. T'was the morning of the day everything became intense.
Was great to see you again after last November.
Maybe you should organise a WC soon.
Dave
