Congrats to the outsiders for taking second place who were not far off the pace and nearly getting maximum points.
There were some very long stages that were taking most teams an hour to drive, but as usual there are the exceptions where there were some nutters behind the wheel certain teams that knocked those times in half! Not that those stages were timed, but I was keeping sneaky times for interest sake. (being stuck in the gazeebo with a bung leg didnt help viewing much)
I got the feeling that people enjoyed themselves, the marshals enjoyed themselves and people would be back again. I heard some feedback both good points and things that could be improved upon, naturally this is normal with any event. We'll discuss those at the club meeting and it will give us something to work on.
I really enjoyed catching up with people this weekend even though I had to hobble around on crutches and use everyone as my slave. I'm looking forward to our own club champs in November up at Rallywoods where I get to drive instead of watching in envy the trucks driving past and listening to the roar of the V8's from the Goodmans and Bush Pigs.
