92 Bighorn 3.2 petrol buying advices??

Hey guys, never touched a isuzu before and pretty intrested in this one on trademe

looks nice to me, want to ask is there anything i should check before i buy it?
and how about the maintaince? as this jeep gonna be my daily commuter and used in weekends recreations.
Be informed by one of my mates says this type engines are extremly thirsty but fairly reliable?
Any input would be appreciated.

Used to have a SWB manual '93 Recaro one. Great trucks. Very reliable. Nice to drive and handle well. Factory tyres way to small for offroad use. Very heavy trucks around 2200kg. The Auto Hubs suck disengage easily.
Expensive to fix. $clutch was $1300 for mine.
Your mate is right about it being thirsty. .
75 litre tank from memory used to get around 450 - 550kms depending on the driving.
Much less around town driving. Same engine found in the Isuzu wizards. Talked to a wizard owner once and he was only getting 300 - 350 ks from his, was an auto though.
Great tow car though, and I would have kept if petrol $ hadn't continued to rise.

Those recaro seats are really comfortable too especially on long trips.
