3.1 turbo is it rebuildable?

hey guys
just wondering whether the turbo is rebuildable on my 1993 bighorn?
has started getting a little noisy when accelerating

i think most of those VCC style turbos are thro-aways, about $1g for a new one..
i used to Cruise, now i PATROL

f#$k that might just have to find a good second hand one then as there is no way im paying 1k for a turbo for a 2k truck

anyone got a good condition turbo for sale? for the intercooled model if it makes a difference

Search horsenut on trade me he wreaks Isuzu's and is good to deal with and reasonably priced.
GU patrol 35s ect.
Money and time pit Suzuki Build.

the 3.1 turbo is not rebuildable best bet is to grab a 2.8 turbo and get it looked over and rebuilt if its needed, with the 2.8 turbo you can get it made into a hybrid which boosts lower and moves a lot more air, this is what i did to mine so much better

Yes 3.1 Turbo on Bighorn are servicable so long as it has the compressor housing that can be rotated.

Depends on how noisy it's getting to, damn my one has been noisy as hell for ages now and it ain't let go yet.
