Nissan TD27 Fuel Pump adjustment- question

Postby blorigan » Mon Jan 06, 2014 9:58 am

I had an issue with my mistral fluctuating revs in top gear by around 200rpm ( whil travelling 100kph)
I have since adjusted the electronic component on top of the geared fuel pump by rotating it ant-clock wise by approx 3mm and the problem has gone. does anyone know the full fucntion of this electronic controller and how much it can be moved etc

thanks

That's the TPS (throttle position sensor).
Usually set to 0.5 volt output at idle from memory.
Adjusting it can hide other problems, or it may have been set wrong.
