Surf refresh

Postby mike » Thu Jun 10, 2021 12:13 pm

Started working on the surf again, it's been off the road 2-3 years. Replacing all the front IFS suspension bushes, new winch, new doors, new tailgate, retrofitting a wheel carrier on to the back of it and try to get a wof in the next month!

Took the 2 year old up to rallywoods to check out the latest winch comp up there. His focus is all about toy cars, monster trucks, diggers and dirt bikes ( he thinks his balance bike is a dirt bike )

Intelligence is like a four-wheel drive. It allows you to get stuck in more remote places.

He comes in climbs under and starts poking screw drivers into every nook! He loves it in the garage, I just don't love the stress of thinking he is going to get squashed every 5 seconds or dread the sound of the angle grinder starting up or something!! At 2.5 he is quite capable at getting into mischief but I think his self preservation is some what lacking
