Diesel 4wds that can't be "switched"

Postby bingslayer » Fri May 31, 2019 6:17 pm

Hi guys, I'm looking to buy a 4wd ute for around 12k. I know that odometer switches are common, but I have also heard that some are impossible to do this? To increase my chances of buying one with legit kms, does anyone know which ones can't? I'm looking mainly at D22 navaras, early/mid 2000s triton and couriers/bounty and possibly hilux if I can find a decent one within budget. Cheers

All of what you are looking at have the potential to be switched I'm afraid
Instead of worrying about switches see if the owners have proof of servicing and have looked after the vehicle

I'd be avoiding the 3.0 navaras the motors are grenades at the best of times
