I have a set of the old BS32 CV carbs, the guy didnt get the $$ he wanted for them on TM apparently so removed all the main jets and had a go at munting all the pilots but only got one out...now I cant get in touch with him, but I haven't paid and he isn't asking for payment - So if figured it might be easier just to get some other jets.
I have no idea what size was in there to start with, but im fitting the carbs to a to a suzi engine. Thought i'd start around 145 mains and go from there. but anything you have might be helpful for a starting point??
Added some pics if it helps??

Are you going to try these on your samurai? If you are, look here:http://www.auszookers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4369

Hey thanks for the link Harry, yeah was I planning on chipping away over xmas and getting them mounted on the Samurai. Not expecting the world from them, but i thought it might be interesting to give it a go. And if I want to deal out some punishment to the little 1.3, I think there is still an SC12 super charger at the old mans place I had on an old Mazda323. The Mikunis are perfect for a blow through set up. And when all the fun is exausted from that setup and conrods are where they shouldnt be. I think the 1.6 will probably be looking likely. Will post some photos of progress, however slow it's going to be....

Hi Death, yup we do occasionally head to auckland, the inlaws are in Manukau. Yeah I would be keen on those jets if you want to sell them? I've heard your not supposed to drill them out due to internal profiles etc? but maybe that would be the way to get me close and then I could buy a few jets when I know what I need. If you would rather I didn't butcher them then thats all good.
Needle jets are still there - Got the carbs stripped right back to nothing at the moment and I'm pretty impressed for the age of them. No wear at all in the needle jets, the grooves in the top of the needles are like new, float valves are spotless..it's almost like someones put a few new parts in them recently. I did find #1 & #3 internal fuel filters completly blocked, which I guess would have made the bike run like crap..maybe the reason for the new parts..Just need some now orings and they will be going back together.

Cool, don't think anyone in NZ has tried it before so it will be interesting to see how it goes! The yanks are into them a bit, here's some more info to look at.

That works then....I'm in Manukau too...Papatoetoe to be precise.
As for drilling etc, I don't really care, they'll be yours. I've done it to jets before myself, even soldered 'em up and drilled 'em smaller...whatever works eh. If you come and get them they're yours

Thanks for the links Harry, some good info there - looks like you have been studying up on the quad carb set up?
I read that 104page samiguy post a while back, man what a marathon!! took like a week of reading! But some useful tips in there. My carbs are older than anything they are using..but hey if it can squart fuel into the engine I guess it has to run aye...?
