Bit of a privacy issue

Postby De-Ranged » Tue Jul 29, 2014 8:14 am

I've just noticed lately that even after I have logged in I still had the login window on the upper right
And it has been inconsistent as to if when I open a new brouser if the auto login will work

This morning its jumped a whole new level, I was auto logged in as another user, with his posting history I didn't try to access his PM's, or post as him... when I logged back in it has logged in normally as me with the side window still there

Now I am having problems with my PC display drivers have corrupted windows, I don't know how but this has has corrupted the SSS scripting, the brousers seem to struggle with authentication certs, to get around this for the mean time I've dialed internet security right back and in the advanced tools removed almost all cert checks

Yep, have the same issue, show up as logged in as someone else. Have seen a couple of PMs (not purposely - nothing exciting anyway  )

I posted about this a while back . Some days its so bad I have to reply to a post and then log in as each page I am a different user :) .

If I was a stirrer it could be really entertaining , unfortunately I am not that creative .

Also I think whatever this is is what stops me logging into yahoo mail , does a similar thing as in once I log in it redirects me to the log in page . Have not been able to fix that , but there was web talk of changing your security level .

You guys are just lucky, we are testing to see who can log in as who.. and it would seem that it's only boring guys that can log in as someone else. LOL

On the privacy issue, we are aware that this is happening and as mentioned by Coxsy, Mike is in Turkey and not the best at the moment and I am also having issues with accessing behind the scenes so we just need to ensure that IF you log in as someone else, please log out and then back in and if you see something that you shouldn't just keep it to yourself.

Cheers

And I yours

Thanks Reece, good luck behind the scenes. Have now got in the habit of logging out before closing browser to see if that helps.

Cheers,

Havnt been logged in as anyone else yet, but have noticed often the main window will be logged out but the right menu is logged in, and vice versa. Have 'log me in automatically' checked doesn't seem to have an affect most of the time I have to re-login

I have not been logged in as someone else since at least friday :D

Looks like progress has been made somewhere by someone .
Cheers to all the work behind the scene we do not see .
