Well set up 10/22 For sale

We have a very well developed little Ruger 10/22 semiauto for sale. It is the wooden stock model with blued barrel. Hasn't had alot of rounds through it and is in excellent condition. A few small marks on woodwork but generally very good - blueing great. Very good nick all round.

This one has the barrel shortened to 16" and a hushpower silencer fitted ($100), has had the trigger lightened by gunsmith ($50), has a polymer buffer fitted to quieten the action. It is fitted with swivels and a sling. And it has a NEW Simmons (owned by weaver) 4-12x40 scope (about $250) which has nice clear optics and is excellent for field or range shooting - dials up well.

It is an excellent little package - all the needed developments and upgrades are done. It is far better than shop rifle deals which have none of the mods, and only a 4x32 for the same kind of price.

My son has shot 101 bunnies in a day with this rifle so it's one seriously effective little shooter - nails them over 100 meters at times.

Shop retail price for this kind of setup is about $799, but young fellow wants $575 ono. A very good deal - the best way to buy a developed rifle.

Christchurch - not easy to nip over to take a look at it!!

However can say it's exactly as described - in very good condition and a fine little hunting unit - far better package than standard new ruger which usually come with a cheap 4x32 scope for around the same price. Son has shot hundreds of bunnies and has had great run with it. Has upgraded to a heavy midway target barrel, hogue stock, custom action etc model.

This little 10/22 still for sale at round $500 or so - one helluva good proposition with its setup - and far better than standard new ones with basic 4x32 at round the same price.
