Sitting at a pub in Ware, just north of London. Sun has shown itself for the first time since arriving last week which is promising. Managed to sort out the use of the tubes, and not get too lost, and have done most of the touristy stuff in the area.
Off to drive around Scotland and Wales for a week, then off to Venice, Rome, Athens, Cairo, Sydney, and back home early June.

I am dong similar in reverse... Done Scotland mmmmmm a few drams. now in London and off further south in a couple of days. We have been VERY.lucky with weather so far with a bit of rain.. One day in Isla but as a Scots island it felt rather fitting ;)

Enjoy the travel and watch yr wallet n the tube....

oh cool Rome centre of the Empire, vist the colloseum, arch of trajan then up the slight rise to the arch that commorates the sack of jerusalum then on to the forum and the spot where caesar died

Thanks for the advice. In Fort William at the moment, and off this morning to hunt out castle ruins before heading towards Edinburgh for a few nights

oh if you hang around the outside of the collo there should be a english speaking tour to suit you instead of the mass's the mrs liked it as the guide looked like tom cruise :D
