Re: Always wear your seatbelt
don't think seatbelts would help much !
thats just insane and brutal.
and to think the punishment over there for fatal crashes is getting your head chopped off.

x2
Growing up around Series Land Rovers I was taught never to wear a seat belt off road. Because a) it could prevent swift evacuation in the event of rollover/emergency and b) you shouldn't be going fast enough to need one anyway.

I think having their head chopped off for many of those guys might be a bit like shutting the gate after the horse is bolted....
They must breed the muppet gene strong over there

Muppet gene seems to be strong in the good old UK as well....

I'm sure the woman who rammed into the park bench was not an Arab either.

LOL, V8 milk truck I love it Though not sure this is muppet gene, rather a very clever engineer and a bloody good driver if he can drift that thing with no seatbelts a bench seat and a vertical steering column.
However I think they breed the muppet gene strong in most places, and I think I am in the perfect position to comment as someone in whom the muppet gene is strong indeed.
I still remember (although the memory is a bit fuzzy cause I was a bit blotto at the time..... ) rollerblading down the main street of Napier at two in the morning doing 80km/h hanging onto the back of a car, from memory the driver was pissed also.
Then there was the time I rollerbladed down TeMata Peak, then there was the time we went mountain biking at night without any lights, then there was the time I flipped my bike down a hill, then there was the time a road off a cliff, then there was the time I got pulled up for speeding by the cops.....on a BMX......
Oh, and did I mention I rolled my truck 3 times in 12 months
Oh, and then there was the time me and my boys decided it would be a good idea to float down the river on old truck tubes, thought it would only take an hour, 3 hours later we came out slightly hypothermic, that was a great adventure
I think you get the drift anyway

Seems like I've drifted into a dumb and dumber conversation. Carry on, you'll breed yourself out of the gene pool soon on your own. I'm out of here.
