As it's technically not a 4wd i'll put it in this section.

Got a new ute today, looking forward to doing small mods on it to make it look tidy such as alloys, paint the front bumper, etc. it's the 2.7 petrol so i've heard they are pretty reliable

No lift or bigger tyres? Sure?

Was tempted to get a 4wd one... this one will do for a while as cheap to run and fix ;) they are quite nice to drive, was surprised

i can see what you mean by painting the bumper, what were toyota thinking lol.

think it needs some slightly larger tyres or rims, those look tiny lol

Cheap to run? Insert tui add here. Cheaper than a jeep. Talk to Hilux Dan about economy .

haha yea, cheaper than a jeep! will do a couple of long trips to test it out.

Eyeing up some 20" black mags 8) , and would either paint the bumper or keep a look out for a 2nd hand one. Going to be a sweet ute when i'm finished!

Leaving it the way it is is cheaper. big rims and small rubber bands make them ride harsh... That photo has it flexing as much as another flex shot I recall seeing today.

Cheers, yea i was reading somewhere last night, bigger mags will lessen the fuel economy.. maybe i won't go so big...
