Well I suppose its only fair that I share our last adventure with you guys...
We flew over to Sydney to go and film the W.E Rock round 3 and the ARB XWC.
We arrived in SYD picked up our Wicked Camper I couldn't help myself I had to get the one with the bullbar... which just happened to be named "The Wod Wagon"
After collecting said eyesore we then drove 2.5 hours til it got dark, which landed us right in the middle of Bathurst so of course the next morning we needed to go set the track record round Mt Panorama. We then drove the remaining 2.5 hours out to Wellington, NSW for the W.E Rock event (World Extreme Rock Crawling), we arrived in the middle of nowhere to a beautiful looking 3000+ acre property with some amazing rock formations scattered around the show.
It was a little boggy and slippery to get in there but we made it no problems, when I get to the gate the organizer was laughing at us. I asked what was so funny, he reckons that a couple of guys in 4wds got stuck on the way in and had to be recovered I was always told rentals go anywhere...

Re: Aussie Trip
We filmed the 2 day W.E Rock event which was a huge eye opener, those guys are MAD. They somehow manage to defy gravity and sometimes they find gravity and flop

Re: Aussie Trip
After W.E Rock, we drove 5 hours from Wellington, to Mt Borah (Manilla) for the ARB XWC (Xtreme Winch Challenge)
This was very cool as we got to see a winch challenge run, that was very technical and there wasnt a single drop of mud
There were 7 trucks entered in the comp, 100% electric winches and these winches were just plain evil they seriously haul arse.
A little bit of carnage here and there but all in all a very well run comp with some seriously challenging SS.

Re: Aussie Trip
After the ARB XWC we made another 5 hour trip back to Sydney to drop off the van. We had an awesome trip, drove a total of 1600kms. Ate heaps, drank heaps (XXXX should be banned!! ), met plenty of good bastards and headed off back to home...
Now to get saving for the next couple of trips
