No name road is blocked about 5km in from the ruthglen road turn off due to forrestry workings in the area.

so u can now no longer do the no name rd track ??
is there any other way of getting in there??

Yeah still can, you can either do the track in reverse (enter from kumara end) or follow the forrestry roads from the Camerons road turn off. I was in there weekend before last. Tracks are pretty tame. Went the whole way through with a broken hub, no problems.

okay so its not actually the start of the mud plug which is blocked, its on the other side of the forestry track???

Yeah they still there. They pretty tame these days, there also another set of holes which are a but better. As you go past the first set, cross the creek and as you get to the river bed clearing there are off to the left up in the bush. There a couple of sill killers, and tail light smashers in there.

Nah, the sill damage was when I had a Ford Courier. Had my safari which is swb in there and did a tail light though lol

Ahhh lol. Dont have courier anymore. I have the short safari with 1 green wheel. Usually have ropes and high lift jack on the spare wheel.

There is cokeye creek, starts by the concrete ford at the start of the no name road, but not sure how far youll be able to get through at the moment.

You can go in from the Greenstone end and go through until you come out onto a large forestry road about half way through. Get out by hooking a left and following the forestry roads out to Camerons.
A call to Olsens Forestry would let you know if the rest of the track through has been reopened through the forestry.
