any need for a booster to ensure the flow gets through?

I'm useing the standard engine driven water pump on mine, no issues at all. Nissan TD42

We put them on our rear radiatored trucks, mainly so driver can leave them (and fans) running to cool everything down after a hard blat if needed.

I'm moving my trucks radiator to the rear soon, gonna leave room for rear water pump in-case I need it later on, but not put it in yet, see if I can save a few bucks for now...

craig davies do just what you are after

I would run it through a thermo switch set at the outlet on the engine
have the pump turn on when the motor gets close to std running temp, this way the motor will warm up faster and the likes of cabin heaters will be a little faster as well

I run a Safari rad in the rear of my 40 series bush truck running a 350 Chevy on a standard engine pump BUT the air locks are killing me and if there is a leak and u have to refill in the bush it burps and farts and heats up.. When running well its on 86-92 deg but am about to buy a Davies pump to push all the air locks out and help the mechanical pump with the extra water. Cant go wrong then and so many others in my club do this and never has any issues. Just the Davies pumps are $295................aggghhhh.

mmmm .......... $295 now or $2k plus for engine rebuild/replacement later due to poor cooling and over heating issues?
