I would say your best bet is to post up the photo's you want to use for your article in this thread, and ask if anyone has any objection to you using them, or if they can supply an original, and take it from there.

I doubt anyone will have an issue with a photo they took, or a photo of their vehicle etc appearing in a 4x4 Mag.

On that note, the whole event occurred on private land so there will be no issues with flying mud and general carnage that the un-enlightened among the NZ population get concerened about

I wouldnt have thought the copywrite, with permission, would be an issue. Its an ORE day and photos come from ORE site.. as long as permission is sought and granted i cant see any problem.

Copyright of the photos belongs to the person who has taken it, all you need is permission from this person, uploading it to ORE just means that the copyright owner has given ORE permission to use it. for the Article it should be ok with permission as it hasn't (I'm assuming) been used in another publication.

I wouldnt have thought the copywrite, with permission, would be an issue. Its an ORE day and photos come from ORE site.. as long as permission is sought and granted i cant see any problem.

The issue has been certain persions (that dickhead who has been doing those anti 4wd newspaper articles which is why the watermark was put on.

Look at the gallery and see who's it is and contact them, 99.9% of people for the articles I have done have not objected to being in a 4wd mag, there is a very small element that doesn't like it and this includes photos so its a good practice to cover your butt and get their ok...., get a decent sized one from the owner not the sized one that appears on ORE as this caused print quality issues ie looks crap.

PM me if you need to

Just as an aside Jerry, do ya really think that an avatar of a twit waving a firearm out a window of a pickup/4x4 is really what the public need to see?? Might be being a nit-picky, but just had to ask.... doesnt paint a very responsible picture (or does it??)
