hilux diff oil change

got hilux diffs in me suzzie, front seals are leaking a bit, no time too have fixed now, so thought i,d drain whats left of the oil and out in fresh stuff too get me threw at least the laurie sanson in a few weeks.

put roughly a litre in front diff, but noticed each front hub has what looks like a filler cap, do i need too put oil in there too?

dumb question prob, but if i don,t ask...............

they're meant to i think yeah, but just drill and tap a thread into the square plug, put a grease nipple in there, and start pumpin some water proof styles grease in there... when it heats up, it works superb and wont leak out the wiper seals....

p.s.. i wouldnt know what kind of oil in the hubs though dude... :oops:

I fill my prado ones with marine grease... that is if you mean the swivel housings?

Yip, grease is the way to go, put about half a cartridge of top quality water resistant grease in each swivel housing, drain oil first.
