there's still some creaking and groaning coming from my front end after last weekends "efforts". So figured i best have a decent investigation. My front swaybar had slid to one side and was striking the inside guard, so moved it back and tightened. Noticed that on the other side the bracket that holds my steering damper was resting against the left spring, so, loosened it off, realigned and tightened the crap outa it (its gunna get welded), whilst doing so, i pulled the boot back off the damper..... and im sure its meant to be straight?????? :? ..... and that funny oily stuff wasnt there when i fitted it either..... :?

I did notice in your photos that you are not disconnected in the front. Put some decent discos (i.e. JKs) and see how beautifully it flexes.

Steering dampner is just a band aid, you don't really need it if every thing else is set-up correctly.

WELLY ORE BBQ at RED ROCKS

was fantastic

Got to know a few guys that up till now were just avatars and ORE logon names, Did some night mission 4x4'n, watched a bent and buckled Tara and a Safari chassin a rabbit rond a paddock, drunk beer and listened to people talk shit (the amount of shit appeared to be proportional to the quantity of beer consumed.... odd :? )

Had a great night, thanks to all, especially Bubba for organising the thing and Malcolm and Gareth for lettin us crash in ya batch.
Got a Daihatsu Something, hasn't got a Daihatsu engine.... or diffs.... and it doesn't have windows.... or doors.... but its got tyres.... :)

And some one sees you pulling them out and sees the ORE sticker on your truck and think that you were playing in the wrong place with them.

Yes we need to get these dorks unstuck but we also need to educate them and pass on the rego's etc to the relevant people.
