Steel rims for surf

Post by surf_tomo »

Im in the market for some steel rims for my( at the moment standard) surf. 1989 LN130 (IFS)
I note white spokes are very common and you can get them in alot of sizes.

What size should I go for 15s or 16s by 7s or 8s im really not too sure at all. Would be putting mud terrains (most likely) on them, not sure what size, and keeping my alloy rims with ATS for normal daily driving.

Just want a rim that I can put muddies on (not massive ones), which would be the most practical?

cheers

yea i didn't no why 15inch was most used then did a little more reaserch and they use 15s because theres more tyre styles in 15 inch then 16 or 17, and because theres more rubber touching the ground,

Umm... offset is the distance from the hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel, NOT the distance between the outside line and the centreline as 86-surf has suggested.
