Transport from Wellington to Auckland

Hi All,

Anyone driving from Wellington to Auckland with room for 4 big tyres??? Think of buying some tyres from Wellington so hoping someine might be making the trip.

Just a remote possibility at the mo, but I`m after a set of road tyres for the 40. Seen some 37's that might be a go just need to sort pick up and transport. Cheers,

You get anywhere with this? there is a 50/50 chance late next week I will have to deliver a stack of boats from silverdale to south island... so will probably then be coming back from down there with an big empty van and i'm sure we could arrange something with the boss...

Haha it is only a possibility at the moment as the boss might do it himself so he can demo some to the dealers on the way... and i'm not sure if he'll be into the free part... but can probably arrange something

Thanks to Big Al and one of his mates who picked these up for me in the weekend.

37" Wranglers for my road tyres. Will be saving up for some 38.5" x 15" x 15" Boggers for the mud.

Plan is that I get truck certed for the 37's and as the 38.5's are within 5% of that should be sweet for short road trips (speedo should be fairly close with either set of rubber).

Auction was for tyres only... He kept the rims so got an eye out for some 15x10's. Let me know if you see any at a good price.

Hahaha. Yip, got my 36" swampers for the mean time the Boggers are just a distant dream right now.

Got to stop spending money on tyres and get this truck running!

Yup, Tim somewhere near Wellington (not sure on location cause I didnt pick em up). Tell him they have gone to a good home :wink:
