Mint truck man. That your Christmas present? :D

Had the Christmas work do on friday, worked today, work tomorrow. We are shifting factories so its pretty hectic.

Paid for my hubs today as well so should hopefully get that sorted soon. Will start with all the questions soon :P

How many trucks have you owned in the last 6 months :?:

I know of 4 (FJ40, MU, 2 x Hilux) .

Good to see strong showing of Yotas in those numbers

Nice new ride. Let the mud fly!

The weekend started off funny when I was on MSN and 86 surf told me about his haircut, so I convinced him to get the pics up on the net.

I spent all of Saturday cleaning up my lockup in preparation for the move back to Welly. Took a whole van load of junk and rubbish to the dump, where the maoris thought that xmas had come early for them. I can't believe how much crap I was hoarding and holding on to.

Today I went for a road trip to Piopio to make the hazards for Round 4 of the National Trials Series. I made some rippers for the guys to ponder over and we tried to do less of the muddy ones that all the competitors have complained about the last 2 times the trial has been on this property. Just got home and had a painful shower on the sunburn.

"note to self"
{take sunscreen next time}

only 1 more week of work to go, before a 2 week break and start the new job in Welly. 8) 8) 8) 8)

Peg the mud!! We like mud. More mud, less sidelings

Good weekend, yesterday took my truck into the akkas did the staircase and the rollercoaster, it is fairly dry at the moment so it was a straight drive for my truck.

Today i cleaned and inspected the damage

just finished off putting my winch on,did buy a runva 12000lbs (24v)when we done this group buy on ore,but this asin 24volt winch came my way at a good price,so passed the runva on to my mate after it had arrived, just need to finish little bits off now , re mount my number plate ,and fit the other tow hook on,thinking about hard wiring winch into the inside off my truck but not that great on electrics, is it easy job or hard job?

had club xmas bbq and play day down coast rd on sat ,found the most evil smelling bog in the world and got stuck in it.about a dozen wagons turned up and had a good play .terry let fireman have a drive in his truck and fireman promptly fell over in it,i got hooked up on a gorse bush and broke my freshly panelbeated and painted fibreglass guard, bugger.shane gave his zuk a good thrashing.karlos took his 454 powered cruiser(the truk) out for a play ,first time out in a few years and learnt how to drive again..have to admit it i got towed by a series 1 landie(how embarrassing is that )but at least it was a rally one (brian howats) .he had to work pretty hard to get me out .got a few photos and vids of tha action on my photos pg 45or if i,ve done this right this link should take you to one of the vids http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/images/ ... 150026.avi ,sunday did household shit ,clean the wagon ,clean the kids quads and do a tip run ready for work tomorrow yeah ha (not)

it must be hard work running a successful engineering business during the week and finding that you have to catch up on sleep when you should be playing in the mud................

Fitted my replacment steering box (nothing wrong with the old one), noted my crap diagnosis :? , and repaced a bent bolt in steering rack knuckle which solved the problem. 8) At least now i've got a spare steering box!!
Cleaned the rest of the Harsham downs mud out, put carpets back in, got all fussy and "iced" it top to bottom. Even splashed out on some of the "safari" seat covers from Repco.
Now just waiting on the rear bar, which hopefully will be out of customs this weekend.....
