www.buyusa.co.nz - anybody used them?

Found a good buy? Had some good service? Found a dodgy product or had dodgy work done. Let us all know. We all want to know about the good buys and warn us before throwing our money away on useless crap!

www.buyusa.co.nz - anybody used them?

Post by TJ »

Has anybody used http://www.buyusa.co.nz/ for getting parts shipped from US. I need to get somethings shipped from US for my eminent upgrade of driveline, I was just wondering whether to go with them or use the supplier's option.

Thanks

The last post on this previous thread is from the guy who runs it, thought it may help.

Appreciate the link and I should have clarified that I am aware of them being set-up recently. But my question is, has anybody actually used them from here?

I need to get a couple of things from the US and the combined weight would be about 99 lbs. USPS max is 66 lbs for international parcels (they become too heavy for USPS staff to pick-up after that).

That's cool, I just noted from his response that he had received a few referrals from the forum, so there may be some users of the service here?

Good luck with the intel gathering, or you may have to be the guinea pig

I went to school with the guy who set up and runs the site

It is the genuine article.

It was originally set up so that goods could be brought off the net from company's in the States that weren't prepared to ship to New Zealand.

Doesn't normally work out any cheaper than getting the company you are buying off to send it.
