I can supply a template, you could take it to any engineering shop, they should be able to cut them out using a profile cutter pretty quick and for bugger all cost.

Cheers, Jeff.

Rick at 4wdaccessories in Christchurch sells them, I take it you need them to get the driveshaft angle sorted :)

i think 20mm may be too much at this stage, what lift did you have to warrent 20mm? and did they cure the vibes? thanks

Well, its a strange one. Some trucks seem to be more tollerent than others, some handle 50mm fine, some need spacers, and some needs heaps of spacers.

Mine was supposedly lifted 50mm, but it was more like over 100mm for some reason, i put it down to saggy standard springs initially, but the vibrations were more than a 10mm packer would cure.

I made the 20mm spacers as a temporary fix untill my adjustable top radius arms arrived. The spacers cured the vibes, but with 10mm packers and the adustable arms, i still couldn't adjust the vibes away completely

The whole idea of gearbox spacers is to get the diff and gearbox onto the same angle, therefore the drive shaft universals are operating at the same angle. Of course the drive shaft universals have to be aligned as well or the vibrations will never cease regardless of what you do (excluding having no angle at the universals of course).

EFS plug starts here

The EFS gearbox spacer consists of 3 plates for each side which allows some selection of gearbox spacing. The metal plates are passivated to stop rust and the kit comes with longer bolts. The holes in the plates are slotted as not all GQs were created equal at the factory and the plates have additional holes to save a few grams in weight.

EFS plug ends here.

Hey, I'll see if i can find the spacers and send em down, if they no good, copy the shape to make 10mm ones.

These are the spacers (thats the 20mm next to the 10mm)

Tge 20mm mounted

And the 10mm for comparison

There may be a slim chance if you grovel enough i might be able to twist someone's arm copy the 20mm one's i have and make ya 2X 10mm plates

Alright, got my "A into G" and found my notes I made at work for the plates.

I used 12mm plate and it cured my vibrations. Here I Microsoft Paint 'ed a quick guide for future reference.

** PLEASE NOTE I MISSED A MEASUREMENT OFF MY DRAWING, I WOULD MAKE THE RIGHT HAND SIDE CENTRE LINE FOR THE HOLES 25mm IN FROM THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE PLATE, MAKING THE EDGE OF THE HOLES THAT ARE DRILLED TO BE ABOUT 12.5mm FROM THE EDGE OF THE PLATE. MAKE THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND HOLE 40mm UP FROM THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE PLATE **

You can make both sides the same, just flip plate over for other side of cross member.

So now you have a starting place and the rest of the hole messurements can come off that and simply using the right hand side of the plate as the Datum line and the bottom right hand hole centre. Remember to lay it all out on the plate first before any drilling!!

Best of Luck and I hope this is clear enough!!
