nissan terrano

Post by muskie »

thinking of buying a terrano as my daily driver not for offroading, got the saf for that purpose.....
test drove a 1995 D21 widebody today, 2.7 turbo diesel, auto trans, drives good everything works couple of real minor dings on body, done 142,000 kms and seems genuine, black over silver. temp guage needle seems to remain at midway on the guage after a town run.

any problems to look out for with these trucks its $6995 from a dealer so maybe not the cheapest but after trawling through trade me it certainly doesnt seem overpriced.. need to go dealer as i want to trade off my 99 mondeo.
any info/ comments would be appreciated. thanks

There is nothing of real issue with the '95 models, I have one myself.
Just keep the oil changes regular and you should have no problems with it.
The temp guage is the same on mine, pretty much stays on the middle of the guauge when warm.
With the auto tranny it is sometimes advised to fit larger aftermarket tranny coolers to them, something I have yet to do.
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

Take it off road ive never had a prob with mine off road and ive been in some tight spots.
Ok when i picked it up the gearbox was blown but what the hell there cheep enough to pick up not only that there is a Z300 gearbox that the Terrano 11 uses in Aussie so its a swap to put it in.
