the locker thingy seems to work  better save up for one for the front now  Next rallywoods trip is Welly Anniversary (3 DAYS) 19-21 Jan (unless people want to go out again before then especially to clear some more tracks before then and then stay the overnight and drink etc)

John, my brother-in-law, took quite a few photos but we are having problems getting them off his camera onto my computer, it is not finding the right driver, so we may have to wait until he returns home to Christchurch in a weeks time.

Thanks again to Jerry for organising the day, and thanks to Paul for giving us a ride in his Toyota when the Jeep didn't want to start.

Cheers

Was thinking another trip next weekend and we start clearing out some tracks ... and make this an overnighter.....anyone who does a work day will get free entry and a free trip the next time...the more you do the more free trips you get....I'll have a chat to paul and organise something....

we have 3 hilux's to test so we should be able to make some mike proof tracks

But at what cost
Nothing that a quick clean out of the carb won't sort, and a water-blasting of the floor, dash board, seat's, inside of the sunroof, radiator, air filter, inside the glove box............
Might have to look at getting a windscreen at some stage. Wasn't fun being assaulted by hail on the drive out, will take Tony up on the offer of a dive mask next time

Big Thanks to Jerry for an awesome day and to Paul for the hospitality ... Oh and the swim up the river.
Learned many things:
Downhill at full throttle is nerve wracking
hair-ties have multiple uses!
There are many ways for water to get into a hilux aircleaner

Rallywoods is bloody Awesome. Much Recommended to everyone. I'll definitely be down for Wellington Anniversary.
