i want to get them out so i can tint them, but i cant get them out...
any ideas?
i undid the three bolts that go along the bottom and front of the windows, but they appear to be the bolts that hold the whole canopy on... not much use...
I remember heating up the black surrounding to unstick the glue inside. Using a heat gun. The whole frame pops out. I think thats the only way. I don't have a surf to go look at. I just trying to remember from when I wrecked one out I got parts off.
All else fails. Go with the hammer. Windows are over rated anyway.

hmm, yeah i was thinking that might have been the case, i had to get pretty brutal to get the two very back ones out.
toyota probably stuck them in thinking noone would ever have a need to get them out again...
get a couple of big screwdrivers from the outside try to lever it out you should see like a black foam sort of shit in between the window and canopy you will then need a sharp knife of some sort and start cutting that all the way around the window, if it doesn't work try from the inside it was a while ago i took mine out but they do come out
