putting an lsd in in place of the useless open diff thats there at the mo, might just do a complete drum to drum swap, be easiest way.

easy way.
jack the truck up onto axel stands
clamp the flexi brake line and undo the brake fitting on the back of each hub, undo the handbrake fittings at the hub end
undo the 4 nuts on the back of each hub and slide the axels out 6 inches- ive even done it with the wheels on
now undo the diff head and swap it out- then do everything in reverse to re-fit and bleed the brakes.

cheers guys, all done now, ended up doing the drum to drum swap, was surprisingly easier than i thought, and i only broke one bolt :?
felt more comfortable undoing stuff i could actually see....

will still end up having to pull the diff head out again later on, so it can be shimmed up a bit tighter... but its in for now at least.

and bonus is now my handbreak works properly 8)
