testing the exo's

Post by rokhound »

So with rock rash '08 approaching really fast, most of the boys decided some roll over protection was required ( there is nothing like leaving things to the last minute )

Mine was all cut, fitted and tacked on, on the truck. Here it prior to being welded off

And off the truck and welded but not yet ground

Image.

On the truck, painted and ready to test out

Image

Choppers cage on his rig, (note the lacking sheet metal on his mint 'lux. Don't let him near an angle grinder and your truck  )

Image

About 300 mtrs in, Chopper tests his cage out

Image

Mine just gets all flexy

And Supra surf (also sporting a new exo cage) gives his a test out.

Also on their side this day was H20lva. In fact even though we tried to get everyone over at some stage ( and some people twice!) Goose and i were the only ones to remain upright. (although I did have both drivers wheels off the ground at 1 point  )

Good fun test out day up Worsleys.
Now to go and fix the really last minute niggly shit that needs sorting before Friday
Ugly is a state of mind..... and the state of my truck!

Hi Jono

Sorry but all seats taken this year and restricted to the number of toys allowed on the property.

We'll be sure to post some pics when we return :)

those exo's just prove to keep the animals caged is easier and cheaper...

look at the ape in the red shirt!!! and that blue cage looks to be made by and for a real monkey!!

Nice pipework there guys, would you be interested in bending a little bit for me for some front and rear bumpers and a couple of rock sliders?
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

by the time we get all these exos finished we'll be well practiced in the art of pipe bending. 8) And if this trip up Worsleys is anything to go by....then Rock Rash is definitely gonna test the buggers (he says thinking $u#k i wish i'd got the rest of my bars done  :? )
