I have/had (pushed it out) a dent in the side of my truck. The last owner claimed it was a trophy from a Lake Daniels trip. I've got to go up and meet this place.
Can any of you help with any info, tips, access issues (permissions, locked gates etc) time to allow etc. I understand its not a shiney trip but are there ways around the rough stuff?
Appreciate any help

You can take the easier route by sticking to the river as much as possable, You only need permission and pay a fee to cross Thamsons flat [ Private ]
The Station Creek up to Thomsons is a free for all, then turn arround at the gate , still a good drive.in and out.

the flats is a bog last time i was there. we had 7 trucks and it took us 5 hours just to get to the other side of the flat. then 4 hours to get back to the big hut.
it's a nice spot in there but you have to know 1 of the 200 key holders to gain access
the hard track out is just that HARD. i was last in there 3 years ago and i got towed 50% of the way out on 31s.
But it was well worth the tow through. even the boys on 35s had to winch through parts.
i mite have to get in touch with a key holder for another trip in there
