between no.1 and no.2 dams at the back of shannon some a..hole has dug 4x4 traps. watch out if any people are planning family trips up there as three kids where in my vechile and my mates rangie which is about 10 meters away in another hole .please watch out as smaller 4x4s would end up on there roofs .lucky one winch in the front and one at the rear was anuff to pull my rangie out
yes there is two tracks one i took and 1 my friend took ill up load a pic from behind the tracks are well used the holes you cant see as they are only 1.5 mtrs out and the same deep .and 3mtrs wide the spade marks are still there

Only reason I ask if it was a track, is that if is well used it may be easier to start a new track slightly to the side so no one else ends up in there
made new track on the way out .now there is three tracks but most people will stay on the tracks most used .i would say the person who has done it will do the same to that track aswell
Well if they do it to the other one, someone rolls and someone dies then the police will be involved and a man slaughter / murder charge will be on the cards. Only then I suppose will they realise that what they did was out right dangerous and stupid.

no that road is locked due to logging at moment we use to have permission to drive and hunt through out that area.the traps are before the top dam no.1 ,there is a bridge on main dam road which has a lot of glow worms there .the track is about 5 meters past the bridge on your left that leads down to the river. There is a sign stating that river may rise without warning, its public access to river.
