Is there an actual road leading to that?
If not, just make a new track more to the right if possible?

Only reason I ask if it was a track, is that if is well used it may be easier to start a new track slightly to the side so no one else ends up in there

Well if they do it to the other one, someone rolls and someone dies then the police will be involved and a man slaughter / murder charge will be on the cards. Only then I suppose will they realise that what they did was out right dangerous and stupid.

no that road is locked due to logging at moment we use to have permission to drive and hunt through out that area.the traps are before the top dam no.1 ,there is a bridge on main dam road which has a lot of glow worms there .the track is about 5 meters past the bridge on your left that leads down to the river. There is a sign stating that river may rise without warning, its public access to river.
