I would, have done no decent 4x4ing these holidays but I've got some running around this morning to do, then got to make sure I get some iron on the roof where I took the chimney out.. then I should help with shearing... hmmm count me out, if anything I might fit in a wee strop up the Ashley later in the day.
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

yea im a bit adicted haha, dont blameyou for not wanting to pay $1001 for a new cv thats a bit over the top!, nz cvs or cv specialists may be able to rebuild your old one, drop it into them could be worth a crack otherwise bnt usualy have a good selection of aftermarket ones.

awsome, yea went to waimac today it was dry and way to hot, have to see how weather is tomorow - ashleys ok but alot of the tracks are closed at the moment so you have to keep going onto the stock banks which gets a bit anoying and as you said its very dry . dont no to many other tracks apart from waimac and ashley tho yet.

Hows about the waimac, but several km's up past the motor bike track?

Just an idea.

I got some one coming around 2, so morning is good for me.

Fweddy where abouts are you talking about? Im guessing north side?

How about meet at Bellfast Pub at 10:30 and we can decide to go north or south side from there.

(The pub is the last on the left as heading north, just before the 100km signs)

We decided to go to the south side!

IT WAS CRAP, DONT EVER GO THERE!!

Lol

Kidding, it was great. very little mud, as to be expected. LOTS of ruts and a few challanging areas.

I'll post pics, and a log of where we went later today.
