I've heard they are good, what are they going on and what sort of offroading are you doing.....theres few good ones out there ..... I run the Wrangler AT/r's on my ZuK and they are really good...(on the road and wet etc)

As long as you are clear that "M" in MT/R stands for Maximum and not Mud. MT/Rs are not and have never been marketed as mud tyres. Otherwise I have heard good things, but have no personal experience of them.

i have them on my surf and they go better in mud than a lot of the other mud tyres i have tried, if they aren't a mud tyre they are a very agressive AT. Great on rocks. They need a bit of grunt to clear them so as long as you have power to spin your wheels then they will be fine. If not then i would look at something like the maxxis bighorn, very simila but better in the mud however not as good on the road. On my v6 surf i love them.

i guess you mean mt/r??ive had several sets 33,35,37inch & they are a bloddy tough tyre!i rate them highly for a allrounder!
i have found all mtrs thou are skinny looking compared to a scorpian or bfg based on a 8inch rim.

seen em used in trials, pretty hard tyre thou you may want something softer?

i have 35 on the cruiser and so far they work well. i know of a set on a perjio 33 and the onwer is more than happy as he has used them in the mud and on the rivers.

Just bought my first set of wrangler MTR's for the 80 series. I bought them because the price was not frightening and they are known for getting heaps of Km's out of them. We have quite a few sets in the club. I put them on before xmas and drove down to the south island and around the place. They still have some of the fluffy bits hanging off them and they have down 2000km.

We run the same tyre on the trials truck and thats a lite weight Zuk. Around 4psi gets them bagging down. 10psi looks like road pressure.

So far I would fully recommend them.

Thanks for all the info, the truck they are going on is a suzuki c class trials truck so not big power,
may need to keep looking for the right tyre. cheers
