Another Suzuki to the cause

Post by Helga410 »

Hi All,
I joined up a few weeks ago on reccomendation from a good mate of mine UBZ. I have got an 84 SJ410V that I have been sloowly working on over the past few years. It started life as my daily driver and a hard top till a tyre blew out and rolled me, Now she's a "soft top with a six point roll cage.
I aim to get her road legal again and use as a trip truck and prove that a 1000cc truck can (hopefully) play with the big trucks.
Thankyou to the chaps who help me with my fuel pump problem awile back that my mate posted up for me :) it was very much appreciated and I learnt a lot from it. It was working with in 5 min !
I hope I can contribute something constructive and worthwile also to Suzuki and wider 4wd community :D .
As soon as I figure it out I will put a couple of picks on "show us your ZUK"!
84 SJ410V, 1000cc, OME 2" spring kit , 2" extended Shackles, 1&3/4 "extractors and 15" coby ,rear lockrite, 29" SATs
This is not the greatest truck in the world..this is a tribute!

Welcome, and good choice of vehicle. I lasted about 2 - 3 years with the 1L powerplant - never failed me I just wanted more  get a rockhopper transfer box, setr of 30 or 31" tyres and you will go a heap of places that will suprise many.

Welcome to the group, do nothing to it except learn to drive and surprise yourself where it will go, and THEN empty your wallet and really enjoy yourselfafter all the mods
