PM me with your phone number and i'll chat to you about we're I'm going, i'm on my own at this stage and without at least 1 other truck with a winch i'll stay at home and curse you all

Come on guys.
We need someone else with a krawler set up for this trip. One of the rigs may have had to pull out. Tim can't drive it on his own (recovery wise) and it's damn cool country. 8) I have hiked it a few times.

Who is keen? :) Someone must be :!:

Health ?? hope nothing too serious Kev ??
Be good if you get a run up the Okuku, your toy is perfect for the terrain. Might inspire you to come out on one of our next trips !!

Was a blast, hopefully Mike or John may post up some pics, had 5 trucks do the first part of the day and then 3 of us went crawling, great fun and back on the hard by 4pm, crowbars straightening steering gear on a couple of trucks and tyres pumped then home

Both steering casualties were associated with me either directly or indirectly, we will just put that down to a lack of experience. First rock trip for me and for the surf, really enjoyed it. Got a bit of brushing up to do with spotting on rocks, bit different to spotting on ruts and stuff where that line tends to last a while where as rocks the line changes every meter or so! So you really got to be on the ball.

Look forward to WATCHING the next one. the surf survived without any damage at all except my bent idler playing up again but thats getting fixed soon thanks to some people off here.

Fantastic day - great weather, great trucks (all Toyota's 8) ), great group, great scenery, great challenge, great driving (Mike, on 33's, deserves a particular mention in despatches).

Hope Mike and John can get some pix up.

We had a ball :P :P can't wait for the next one, as for a garage, i'd build on tomorrow if I had the room to, problem is, I never built the home, we bought it unfinished and they built it in such a way that I can't access the huge back area :x as it's all laggoon reserve now, I have crabs living on my property which means I can't build on it because I won't get consent as the poor old kingfishers and other sea birds will go hungry apparently
