Welly Waitangi Day at the beach (6th Feb)

Post by Jerry »

Day off coming up so lets cruise round red rocks and do some fishing, sunbathing (can I bring my speedo's  ), Bury the Nissans in the sand, cruisy day, BYO stuff, bring the kids out. Maybe we can have lunch at Beercruisers bach (or another one if I can get access). Red Rocks may be very busy that day, but we'll just take it easy and try not to pi5s off other users ie walkers and bikers.

Meet at the carpark 9.30am onwards, head off from there 10am, towhooks preferred but not essential (we will find something to attach a strop to), Red rocks is a legal road and all vehicles are supposed to be road legal,

TRIP IS SUITABLE FOR SHINY VEHICLES AND THOSE PEOPLE NEW TO 4WDING.

if any hillbillys and Jaffa's are coming up/down at Queens Birthday Weekend then maybe youse fella's would be keen to stay an extra day or 3 and fit in Aotea block and Red Rocks, with a day of rest perhaps and or sightseeing/shopping etc. have suggested this to the QBW organising committee

Ahump. And mine, what about mine, where does it fit in? :D

Re the QBW. If you do convince me to tear myself away from mudplugging in vintage cars to come back up to Hillbilly country, I would love to see some more country, Red Rocks, Aotea etc. However I dont want to be doing that in front of a Shotgun nor with that clear liquid in a glass jar.....
