Looks to me like they just intend you to run ties through the radiator core fins!

You want to cool a twin turbo engine with el cheapo no-brand fans? Personally I'd rather have second hand fans out of a Commodore or something than these things.. might even work out cheaper both short term and in the long run.

i have one of them on the front of my radiator as a blow set up and personaly i think its useless  and am looking into something more substantial. the commodore electric fans are awesum in my opinion as well.

The plastic ties you see in the picture fit through the radiator and attach to the fan. So the fan sits right against the radiator.

Get a VL Commodore Fan and Make a mount. It has Three bolt holes in the motor, so just need a U shaped bracket round it, down to something. If I get chance I'll take some pics of mine.

Using those plastic ties through the radiator is a waste of time. To get it to work effectivly you need to shroud the whole radiator and it should be in a pull setup ie engine side. This is because over about 40-50k the fan do nothing anyway. I much better way is to get secondhand fans. What you use will depend on the shape of you radiator. I have twin Falcon fans mounted onto and ali shround that bolts to the original shroud mounts. This fits a Safari radiator perfectly. I can't help with a single fan option but it sounds like a Commodore fans is the go.

whar radiator are you using? get the standard set up for that radiator so that you have a shroud or if you buy after market pay $89 and get proper davies fans not chinese shit, i put one 14 inch davies on and it will keep a g16a cool while being held on the limiter buried in mud for hours  were as before it would get hot pretty quick .

I used twin falcon fans in my setup, works a charm, made some bkts and a shroud to fit behind the Datsun radiator
